Young Athlete

Emma Pombo was born and raised in Miami with a lifelong passion for horses. At just five years old she found her calling in showjumping — a sport that taught her discipline, trust, and resilience.

Beyond competitions, Emma builds strong bonds with each horse she rides and embraces every challenge with joy and commitment. Balancing school and training, she represents a new generation of riders who compete with heart and humility.

Her mission: to grow as an athlete and inspire others through courage, joy, and sportsmanship.

2017

First contact with horses at age 5. Immediately fell in love with the sport and began weekly lessons.

May 2022

First local competition in Miami — a milestone that confirmed her passion and drive to compete.

Jul 2023

First international exposure — riding and training abroad, broadening her equestrian perspective and raising her competitive level.

Jun 2025

Competed at World Equestrian Center (WEC) — one of the most prestigious equestrian venues in the U.S.

Dec 2025

Returned to WEC for a second strong performance, closing the year at the highest level of her career.

Mar 2026

Competed at Winter Equestrian Festival (WEF) in Wellington, FL — the pinnacle of North American show jumping. The journey continues.
